His Eminence Sheikh Akel of the Druze Unitarian Community Sheikh Naim Hassan received at the Community House in Beirut, a delegation of scholars, including Imams, Sheikhs and the Association of the “Advocates of the Levant,”where Dr. Hassan Al-Abdullah, Dr. Mahmoud Kaftaro and Sheikh Bilal Mohammad Dalal have spoken on behalf of His Eminence. The delegation expressed its appreciation for the national, Islamic and Unitarian positions of Sheikh Akel as well as his voice of reason, wisdom and tolerance. The delegation found this visit as an occasion to emphasize the brotherly Islamic relations along with the Community House which guarantees all faithful and loyal individuals’rights and is considered asthe safe reference for safeguarding humanitarian and social justice issues in addition to preserving faith principles. The delegation has stressed the role of the Druze Unitarian Communityin upholding the Islamic religion and its humanitarian belief in Lebanon by welcoming and embracing its brothers in all the mountain regions.
