Political and Religious Commemoration of Cheikh Mohamad Abou Chacra for his twenty-sixth anniversary at Unesco, on May 20, 2017

The Akl sheikhdom and the sectarian council of the Druze Unitarian Community have marked, in collaboration with the Municipalities of Beirut and Amatour, their loyalty on the twenty sixth anniversary of the late Sheikh Mohamad Abou Chacra in the big hall at the Unesco Palace in the presence of Sheikh Akl of the Druze Unitarian Community, the Minister Ayman Choucair, representing the President of the Republic General Michel Aoun, the deputy Ali Bazzi, representing the Chairman of the House of Representatives Mr. Nabih Berri, the minister Marwan Hamade representing the Head of the government Cheikh Saad Hariri, and the deputy Ghazi Al Aridi representing the Head of the Democratic Party Mr. Walid Beik Jumblatt. Noting that Mon Seigneur Boulos Abdel Sater who is the representative of His Beatitude Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Boutros Al Raii, the judge Cheikh Khaldoun Aramit who is the representative of his Eminence the Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, the Jaafarit Mufti Sheikh Ahmad Kabalan, who is the representative of the Head of the Shiite and Islamic Supreme Council Cheikh Abed El Amir Kabalan have presented several speeches on this occasion. His Eminence Sheikh Akl Sheikh Naim Hassan has concluded this session with a speech.
